The Albertsons Tuna Deal

Albertsons has the Starkist cans and pouches of tuna for $1.25 each, and they are part of the "Epic Sales Event" that is going on now (buy 10 participating items and save $5.00 instantly) which then makes them .75 each. There are tearpad coupons for "$1.50 off 3 Pouches of Starkist Tuna" AND for every 5 pouches you buy, get a $1 Catalina. If you don't see the tearpad coupons, ask the cashiers if they have them, because a lot of the stores are keeping them at the registers. The best way to do the deal is to buy 30 POUCHES at a time, then you get six $1 Catalinas AND you can use 10 of the $1.50/3 coupons.

Here's how to do the Starkist Tuna Deal at Albertsons:
Get 30 Starkist Tuna Pouches (which is one case and 6 more pouches)
Get 10 $1.50 off of three Pouches" coupons
Pay. You will end up paying $7.50 (plus tax) for the first 30 pouches, and you will get $6 in catalina's back.
If you do the deal again, you will pay $1.50 (plus tax) for the 30 pouches, and will have another $6 in catalinas to either do the tuna deal again, or use on anything else...

Here's the breakdown:

First Transaction:
$37.50.....30 Pouches of Starkist Tuna
-$15.00....."Epic Sales Event" instant $5 savings for every 10 participating items, and we bought 30 items)
-$15.00.....for 10 $1.50/3 coupons
$7.50.....TOTAL on First order, AND get $6 in Catalina coupons back

Second Transaction
$37.50.....30 pouches of Starkist Tuna
-$15.00....."Epic Sales Event" instant $5 savings for every 10 participating items
-$15.00.....for 10 $1.50/3 coupons
$ 7.50.....SubTotal
-$ 6.00.....Catalina Coupons (OYNO's) from first order
$ 1.50.....TOTAL OOP AND get another $6 in Catalina's back!

Use your $6 catalina to do the deal again or on anything else in the store (except alcohol or cigs).

This tuna deal will still be going on next week. The old, downtown Albertsons in Meridian, ID got in 3 huge pallets of tuna this morning.

WOW! Look what $26.15 can buy!

Here's a picture of my shopping run and 2 kids who think they are bunnies...? :)
It probably doesn't look like THAT much, but let me break it down for you:

3 gallons of Shoppers Value Milk (reg price $1.99, sale $1.67 each)
3 boxes Reses Cereal (reg $5.29???, sale $2.49 each)
1 hunts catsup (reg $1.99, sale $1.50)
3 six packs Dannon Lite&Fit Yogurt (reg $3.29, sale $1.99)
4 boxes Reynolds Wrap (reg price $1.85 each)
1 Capri Sun Sunrise (reg price $3.19, sale price $2.00)
14 Oscar Meyer Hotdogs (reg price $$3.99, sale $0.98 each)
16 easy Mac (reg $1/00. sale $1)
240 pouches of Starkist Tuna (reg price $1.59 each, sale $1)
1 mentos gum (reg $1.49) I had to buy these, to make a transaction in the positive.
1 package little swimmers diapers (reg $8.89 sale $7.49--not a great deal, but I needed them, did have a doubled coupon for $2 off)

So my total OOP (including tax) was $32.15, but then I had 6 more $1 OYNO's from the tuna deal to take home, so when you factor that in, it was like paying $26.15!!!! For ALL of that!!!! WOW! Not too bad at all, I'd say! AND I earned .20/gal gas rewards, so that means an additional $4.00 off of 20 gallons of gas! Pretty cool, huh?

I saved $492.26! Super Duper Awesomely Cool, huh?

The old downtown Meridian Albertsons (by BIg LOts) had 3 FULL pallets of Tuna in this morning and the coupons for them are at the register. I think it is best to buy the tuna pouches in 30's, which is 1 case, plus 6 more pouches) then use 10 of the tearpad coupons (if not by the display, ask because they may be at the registers). Your total will come to $7.50, and then 6 $1 OYNO's will print out to use on your next order. So if you do it again, you can use the $6 of OYNO's towards your next purchase, making it only $1.50 for 30 pouches of Starkist Tuna. The expiration on the ones I bought isn't until 2012! AWESOME! Great Food storage!

I of course, didn't buy these all at once, but in several different transactions so that I could use double coupons. Most of the coupons I used (and doubled) to get the deals pictured above are listed in the two posts below this. So check them out, make your list, and run to the store!

Old Navy Sale

Thanks Suzanne for this info:

At Old Navy, they are having the "Men's Better-Half Off" sale. ALL Men's items (excluding clearance) are half off. I'm not sure when it ends - maybe it's in conjunction with Father's Day?

Free Rootbeer Float, Orange Julius, Walgreens, etc.

WOW, Nikki! Thanks for this information:

Free (small) rootbeer float at A&W on Friday June 19 from 2-8 pmhttp://www.awrestaurants.com/
Also on Friday June 19 free Orange Julius, but you need a coupon for this one http://orangejulius.com/ it is in the bottom left corner where there is a counter counting down until Friday.
Walmart is giving away samples of Great Value cereal bars. http://instoresnow.walmart.com/enhancedrendercontent_ektid72692.aspx
At Walgreens this week you can get 3 Dry Idea deoderants and St Ives Body Wash and 2 Oreo Cakesters for 2.96 plus get a 2 $3 RR for next time. I did it twice today. Use 1 in-ad coupon for the Dry Idea deoderants (you only need 1 coupon for up to 3) and use $2/1 Dry Idea deoderant coupons on coupons.com (it should still be available, it shows on mine but I am maxed out). You will also need 2 $1/1 Oreo Cakesters that came out in Sunday's paper 6/14 SS. The overage on the deoderant will pay for the body wash with 4 pennies left over so you'll have to buy something else with this transaction which the Oreo Cakesters is doing. Also several blogs said the Oreo Cakesters had a RR but I went to try it last week and didn't because it wasn't marked on the shelf and not in the ad. Well today I tried it (still not marked on the shelf) to see if it would print out a $3 RR and it did. Oreo cakesters is free after coupons and RR. 2/$5-2 $1 coupons- $3 RR=free
Ever wondered when to put more sunscreen on, well there is these stickers you can put on and they tell you when to reapply sunscreen. Order a free box of Sundiwear stickers here http://www.sundiwear.com/parenthood/freePack.aspx
Have you heard of Kraft First Taste? Well, it's a new program from Kraft. You sign up, and when anything new comes out from Kraft, they send it to you to try (or they might send you a coupon to get it free- I'm not entirely sure on how they do that) and then you tell them what you think. I signed up earlier today and I just found it on another blog and they said all the spots are taken now, but I'm not sure if it is true or not. Visit http://www.kraftfirsttaste.com/ and try to sign up. I am not sure if what I read is true. Only one source out of 10 is saying this.
Do you like Minute Maid Frozen Lemonade? The link is to get a coupon mailed to you. http://www.jjsnack.com/minutemaid/couponform.asp

Krispy Kreme is giving away a dozen donuts for Father's Day. I can't seem to find anything on their website but lots of blogs have said this. Most say take in a ugly tie and get a dozen glazed donuts free. Some blogs say their doing specialty ones like sports donuts reported on http://pinoyfood.nimrodel.net/2008/06/12/krispy-kreme-fathers-day-special-doughnuts/ and peanut butter and stripes donuts reported http://arpeelazaro.com/2009/06/15/get-krispy-kreme-for-your-dad-this-fathers-day/ It would be wise to call Krisy Kreme for specifics before going.

Winco Deals

Thanks Jennifer C. for this info:

There were a few good deals at Winco today.
Boxes of Taco Bell hard taco shells were on sale for $0.82, and they had coupons attached to them for $0.50 off... 32 cents a box total. They were located on an endcap next to the salsa.
Milk was $1.68.
Taco Bell refried beans were $0.68 a can.
Shredded cheese was on sale for $1.31/package (the 2 cup size). I can't remember every kind that was that price, but I know cheddar and cheddar jack were for sure.

If anyone else knows of more good winco deals, I'll ad them on!

New Doublers in this coming Wednesdays Ad...6/3-6/9

This Wednesday Albertsons ad is supposed to have Doublers again. For a preview of Wednesdays ad Click here.
It looks like the new ad is going to be FANTASTIC, especially with the doublers, there will be a LOT of free or nearly free items. Hooray! We love free!
Thanks to PYP for this info. If you haven't checked out this site, you really should! It has lots of fabulous info!

Some Doublers Ideas...

The 3 day Doublers were in Sundays paper, and in the Statesman, not the Press Tribune. I think it was on page 11. They were NOT on the Albertsons ad that was in the paper. They should have some doubler ads at customer service, or at the front doors if they are available. Good Luck!

Here is a link to a list of ideas on how to use your doublers, (if you got them) Click here . Thanks to PYP for this list.

And the Winners Are...
